Post #67 Why ISN’T GOD Our Leader/King?

The “OUR FATHER” (written by Christ) says it BEST. In that prayer, Christ asked GOD OUR FATHER to rule the WORLD like HE RULES HEAVEN.

• (Matthew 6:10) “…YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN”

In other words, Christ was telling us to make GOD THE FATHER the LEADER/KING of our country just as HE is in charge in HEAVEN. Christ studied the WORD OF GOD and KNEW the JEWS were MOST successful and happy when they let GOD be in charge (Moses parting the sea and the Jews wone the Promised Land with very little effort).

In the book of Samuel

• (1 Samuel 8:5)"……appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have.”

the Jews told Samuel to ask GOD to give them a human king to rule their country. GOD warned them they were making a mistake but HUMANS think they KNOW MORE than GOD. So GOD let them have human kings but the Jews were NEVER the same.

The USA was founded by men and women that left their countries to have religious freedom. They were VERY RELIGIOUS and included GOD in their government. Thus GOD felt a closeness with the American people. Over the years, that closeness has been eroded just what happen to the Jews when they decided they DIDN’T need to have GOD as their leader. We are becoming too BIG FOR OUR BOOTS and are telling GOD we DON’T want HIM in our school or our government. So HE’S telling us believe it or not HE DOESN’T need us at all. Too bad we DIDN’T learn from the Jews and ADMIT GOD is MORE important than anything else. After all HE can CONTROL EVERYTHING. I have NO doubt that HE had a hand in helping our founding fathers defeat the powerful British forces. HE may NOT take the credit and HE may NOT tell us what HE did to help us but I KNOW HE’S the ONE I want on my team.

So the question is, “WHO WILL BE GOD’S FAVORITE COUNTRY NOW?” America DOESN’T want/need HIM anymore. I guess it’ll be the COUNTRY that makes GOD MORE important than their country and makes HIM part of their government. Maybe they’ll make HIM their KING/LEADER. I suspect it’ll be a small poor country just like Jewish slaves in Egypt or the British Colonies in the new world. History repeats itself because man DOESN’T learn from his mistakes and we ONLY remember GOD when times are BAD (Jewish slaves or British Colonies).

As GOD’S MESSENGER (like Samuel), I CAN’T stop humans/countries from making BAD decisions. GOD gave us all a FREE WILL and HE DOESN’T break promises. As HIS servant, I have to OBEY HIM and let sinners sin if they want to. All I can do is WARN America like Samuel WARNED the Israelites. GOD has to be NUMBER ONE. The MAJORITY of the country BELIEVES in GOD yet the country LISTENS and MARCHES to the wishes of the few that DON’T BELIEVE in GOD. Kind of like the crucifixion of Christ. The crowd listened and marched to the wishes of a few.

So the question is: Are we going to let this country travel down the path of the Israelites and watch GOD work HIS wonders on some foreign land? Or are you going to be one of GOD’S soldiers and start FIGHTING to get GOD back in our schools and government. The choice is up to you but the results are documented in the bible. Prosperity is the reward for making GOD NUMBER ONE. On the other hand suffering and destruction are the punishment for TURNING on GOD. That's NOTHING NEW. The first book of the bible talks about Adam and Eve TURNING on GOD and look what happen to them.

Do you want to tell your grandchildren why GOD DOESN’T like Americans? Do you want to tell your grandchildren why this country is a THIRD WORLD country and why Poland, Fiji, Malaysia Bolivia… is now the MOST POWERFUL nation in the world? It happened to the Israelites it can happen to America too, if it hasn’t already started (Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq). We seem to be a modern day Britian and losing wars to weaker unknown forces. The British might still be an important country but what would they be today if they kept the colonies as part of thier country.

Now you know why past dynasties/empires failed (Romans, Turks ...). As the country moves further from GOD/RELIGION the people care more about material things and about themselves than GOD. Thus the army DOESN'T fight the same and they begin to LOSE BATTLES. Religious people (example the Moslems) are willing to DIE for their cause because they BELIEVE they are going to be REWARDED by GOD for DOING THE RIGHT THING. The BIBLE says the SAME THING. THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE THAN TO GIVE UP YOUR LIVE FOR ANOTHER. Thus a RELIGIOUS ARMY has MORE HEROS (people willing to GIVE UP THEIR LIVES to save their buddies and WIN the BATTLE) than an army that puts MORE IMPORTANCE on MATERIAL THING than GOD and RELIGION.
